WINNERS AND LOSERS INTENSIVE WORKSHOP - FRIDAY JULY 15th

Winners and Losers STARS Melissa Bergland (who plays the incredibly funny Jenny Gross) and the buffed heart throb Jack Pearson (playing the annoying brother Patrick Gross) will be running an intensive Film and TV workshop at Mooregrace on Sunday the 7th of August.

The session will kick off at 12 noon with a Q and A session. Jack and Mel will share their own experiences, setbacks and challenges which they have faced working in the acting industry. This is a great opportunity for all budding actors to get advice and learn from the experiences of the young stars.

Students will then be introduced to various improvisation games, techniques and strategies which Jack and Mel use in their own acting. From theatre sports which loosen the body to activities which help you to be present in the moment; it’s all part of being a Professional working actor. Students will then discover how both Jack and Mel approach a scene and what choices they make to ensure a truthful performance.

Each student will perform a scene while having Jack or Mel direct them. Students will learn about what to expect when they get on set and the vital things that actors must be aware of when working professionally.

All scene-work will be recorded onto each student’s USB, please remember to bring one! Mooregrace does sell its own branded USBs for $15.00 which includes a lanyard. This can be purchased on the day of the workshop.
