Kids Acting Classes - 7 yrs to 10 yrs

These two hour classes are sure to be the highlight of your child’s week. They will have loads of fun, participating in fast paced improvisation games, recording scenes on camera, and exploring new technology. Through our innovative curriculum they will be given the opportunity to develop self confidence and valuable life skills in a positive learning environment. Whether your child is shy and wants to break out of their shell or is a ‘born performer’ and needs an outlet, the Mooregrace program will ensure that they are given the opportunity to shine!

The MG class:

The class is divided into two one hour sections.

During the first hour your child will be involved in theatre sports and fun improvisation activities that promote team work and develop performance skills.

In the second hour it’s lights camera action, with students acting in front of the camera. All of your child’s work can be captured onto USB so that they can see themselves on the big screen at home! Each week will bring a different engaging film activity.

Throughout a term your child can expect to:

• Act in scripted drama, comedy and sci-fi scenes
• Record TV commercials
• Work with Greenscreen special effects
• Shoot scenes in different locations around the studio
• Perform Voiceovers for cartoons
• Create and perform in their own scenes.

The MG teaching team:

Studio Directors Paul Moore and Sarah Grace both hold a Bachelor of Primary education. This high level of training and experience ensures top quality teaching in every class. Any staff member that joins the Mooregrace team undergoes extensive screening and continuous training to ensure your child has a fantastic Mooregrace Experience!

For those little stars who are keen to take their acting to the next level and want to break into the film and TV industry, the team at Mooregrace are always on hand to offer advice and support. They understand how many questions arise when you’re getting started and are there to help you through the process every step of the way, from finding the right agent to assistance with that first audition.
The studio is dedicated to creating industry opportunities for those students who want to further pursue their acting. Each month a casting director visits Mooregrace to hold a “showoff session”. These workshops are run separate from the weekly classes and provide students with the opportunity to showcase their talents and be considered for up and coming film and TV projects.

Option 1: Tuesday 4:30pm-6:30pm
Option 2: Wednesday 4:30pm-6:30pm
Option 3: Thursday 4:30-6:30pm
Option 4: Friday 4:30pm-6:30pm
Option 5: Saturday Morning 10:00am-12:00noon
Option 6: Saturday Afternoon 12:30pm – 2:30pm
 

Cost:

Payment is made by the term. There is a $20 discount on fees if they are paid within the first two weeks of term.

Standard price per term is:

Kids: $250

Early Bird discount price: (if paid within the first two weeks of term)

Kids: $230

Families with more than one person attending the studio receive a 20% discount on all enrolments after the first student. Give the studio a call if this is an option you would like to pursue.
