Studio Director Sarah Grace is over the moon since she has landed an ongoing role on a new TV drama. Sarah plays the sister of one of the main cast and has been currently confirmed for at least 12 episodes with the hope to extend. Her character couldn’t be any closer to her self, she is getting married in both the show and in real life – double happiness for Sarah. The show starts rehearsals today! – Monday 6th of September and starts shooting from the 20th of September.
Why do you always seem to land an acting job when your life is crazy busy? As Studio Director Paul Moore prepares for his own wedding in less than 14 sleeps, he has been chosen as a main role in a new beef TV Commercial. This Ad will be a nightmare to organise as it will include over 60 extras and 30 featured roles. How ironic is it that Paul will be playing a Groom in his role on the beef TVC. Last Saturday he attended wardrobe in Melbourne where they fitted him out with his outfit.

Eddie Barroo who starred in the feature film ‘Australia’ along side Hugh Jackman and another huge movie - Ghost Rider - not to mention many drama series including Rush, City Homicide, McLeod's Daughters and heaps of major TVC’s. His credits are amazing and now you have the chance to experience his exciting teaching style. Eddie comes from a writing background which allows him to delve deep into the scripts and analyze the entire story and characters development.
Keep your radio pumping in the car because you will definately hear Studio Director Paul Moore in a new 7-11 campaign. "I was driving home tonight and I heard myself on NOVA - it was such a classic, I had to laugh.. I sound so Aussie.. The entire recording only took ten minutes, so much different than a TV Commercial. I turned up in a pair of track pants and a t-shirt - no make-up, no wardrobe, no worries! Said Paul.
Three Mooregrace kids have landed a lead role in a new Government television commercial. The TVC is aimed at encouraging the younger generation to follow their dreams. Erin, Niki and Kirk all play adults in the commercial which uses comedy to help kids achieve their best in life. All three actors have been told they were outstanding and they take direction very well. Look out for Erin playing a head chef, Niki playing a yoga instructor and kirk as a business man! The TV commercial will be launched this Saturday.
Today Paul Moore recorded his first ever radio voice over Ad, he has to wait to see if the client will go ahead with it but boy did he have fun. He played an Aussie 16 yr apprentice who is constantly getting pushed around by his boss. Paul gets the last laugh though, he’s been buying one dollar coffees from 7-11 and pocketing the change! Paul recently played a constable in the new series ‘Killing Time’ which will air on foxtel in a few months.
Heaps of people both in Australia and international have asked us to broadcast Paul and Sarah’s Wedding live over the internet. The directors of Mooregrace are busy trying to organise this facility but they are positive it will be possible by September 18th. Mooregrace teacher Georgia Chara and star tween Nicole freeman have both had their roles written back into Bed of Roses. They have both been invited back to the show based on their amazing performances last time. This is a brilliant result for them and it really shows how great they both are at working with directors and the rest of the cast. Georgia plays a bike sales-worman and Nicole plays her cheeky little self. The pair have also been extremely busy doing other projects.
Jordan Dunse feels like a celebrity now after spending a full week shooting a final year RMIT film. The movie was shot on 16mm which meant the picture looked amazing. This will make a superb show-reel for the youngster! Not only did Jordan get to miss a whole week of school but he played a character from the olden days. His hair and costume were constantly getting attention and boy did he love being the centre of attention.
Mooregrace have been in the thick of the action again.. We have helped a Leading Casting Director in Melbourne cast roles for ‘The Cup”. Over 30 teens and adults hit the Geelong race grounds a few weeks ago to play extras in the film. Everyoner had a blast, mixing with other actors and meeting some of the biggest actors kicking around. The food was amazing and the buzz was electric!
